The Parsha Salon is really a very simple concept. Basically every week you read the weekly Torah Portion, starting from the beginning. Once a week you get together with 4-6 of your peers to discuss the concepts, questions and issues raised in that weeks portion. These “pods” will be formed as they fill up and will meet at a set time which is convenient to the group. The goals of the program are:
- To gain a proficiency in the basic narratives and concepts of the Torah.
- To stimulate Jewish conversation amongst peers
- To converse with and meet people on a deeper level
Please contact Zvi@theintownchabad.com if you would like details on how to get involved with this concept. We have one starting on monday nights 8PM. Like it on Facebook here
