Tisha B’av and more

Tonight begins a really crazy day in the Jewish Calendar.  Tisha B’av (the 9th of Av) is a day where we basically commemorate every tragedy that has ever befallen the Jewish people. It’s a fast day, kind of like Yom Kippur where you don’t eat or drink for a night and day, don’t wear leather shoes (Crocs or Toms OK), shower or have intimate relations.

At Intown Chabad we will be showing an incredible film about the Gaza withdrawal 9 years ago. Unsettled, will unsettle you as you see what price Israel has paid for leaving Gaza years ago. More details and rsvp here
