Join us on Thursday nights this summer for the area’s first Young Professional Bowling League. The tentative list of participating organizations include the Intown Chabad, the Network, and the YP groups from Shearith Israel, Beth Torah, Temple Shalom, and Temple Emanu-El. If your synagogue or organization is not listed, let us know and we can set up a team for you.
The cost is $12 per person week plus shoe rental ($2). Each team will consist of the same amount of bowlers (4 to 6) per team as to be determined at a later date. You can have more on each team in case you don’t get the same people to show up each week and want to have alternates on your team. Each session will consist of 3 games of bowling. Our goal is start bowling on Thursday, July 23rd. Games will be played at the AMF (Triangle) Bowl in Richardson at US 75 and Campbell.

Hi Everyone!
The JCC men’s softball league will have it’s first game this coming Monday night at 6:30pm. I am putting a team together to play in the league for the summer. We already have about half the players needed, we are looking to get the last few players needed over the next couple of days. For those of you who are hearing about this for the first time, here’s the scoop:
Games will be played every Monday night between 6:30 and 9pm depending on the schedule.
All games will be played at the JCC 7900 Northaven Rd, Dallas, TX 75230.
Cost for the entire season will be between $40 - $50 depending on how many players we get.
Everyone on the team will play every game regardless of skill level. (fill in players will only play if needed)
Please let me know if you are interested in playing or if we can call you to fill in for absent players. Please forward this email to anyone you know who may be interested in playing. We will have a maximum of 11 players on the team; first come first serve. Please contact me if you have any questions. It should be a really fun and competitive season! Play ball!

Description
Born in 1986, Micki has served in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) since 2005 as both a paratrooper and more recently, in Gaza as a platoon leader in the operation “Ofert Yetzuka” (”Cast Lead”) in 2009.
Micki is traveling the states as part of Israel Bonds’ Operation Maccabbee. In 1951, Development Corporation for Israel- DCI (better known as “Israel Bonds”) was founded by David Ben-Gurion to unite Diaspora Jewry and Israel in an economic partnership to help build the reborn Jewish nation. This partnership has helped fuel virtually every sector of Israel’s economy, transforming Israel into an industrial leader that boasts agricultural independence, cutting-edge technological development, state of the art medical and scientific institutions, a modern infrastructure, and a highly skilled and educated workforce.
As Israel faces the future with the hoped-for promise of peace and security, it seeks to attract new economic links and explore new markets for continued growth. Israel is an ongoing success story which all can share through Israel Bonds.
We look forward to both sharing both Micki’s story with you and providing the opportunity to get involved with Israel Bonds. Please share this invitation with your friends and family. We hope to share Micki’s story with as many people as possible.
